JANEEMO Trees
What are JANEEMO trees used for?
The trees all have multiple uses. Some have oil-rich seeds that can be processed to produce locally used biofuels for lamps, stoves and generators, or turned into soap. Extracts from some of the trees have important nutritional as well as medicinal uses. The residue from this process can be used to produce biogas for cooking and an agricultural fertiliser.
